Three handmade bamboo quenas. Traditional Inca, Native Andean wind instruments from Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia. They can reach up to two full octaves plus some more notes on a third. Yellow colored shafts with seven finger holes decorated with cultural and holy symbols like the Chakana cross. The tube is completely hollow and the mouth piece requires a certain level of skill to produce sound. Andean people are joyful and enjoy using bright colors on what they craft. |
