Qingcheng mountain was inscribed on the List of World Cultural Heritages in 2000.It is among the first group of renowned scenic spots proclaimed by the State and evaluated as a Scenic attraction of Class AAAAA. Mt. Qingcheng, located in the southwest of the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project of China in Sichuan Province, is one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China.For a long time, Qingcheng Mountain has been known for its beautiful natural scenic spots and multiple human landscapes at home and abroad. The height of Qingcheng Mountain ranges from 736m to 2, 434m above sea level and the temperature there is 15.2 in average.There are 36 peaks, 8 big caverns, 72 small caves and 108 scenic spots in the mountain.Far more than that, Qingcheng Mountain also brings you endless beautifulness of deep gullies, towering peaks, primitive plants and lush trees.Thats why Qingcheng Mountain wins the reputation of The Moust Secluded Place under Heaven. As early as the 3rd century BC, Qingcheng Mountain was designated ad one of the 18 sacred places for national sacrifice. It is the source of Chinese Daoism and enjoys such titles as Fifth Paradise among ten paradise related to Daoism and Home of Immortals. It is even regarded as a live Daoism Museum.
