| Surrounded by jelly, these perfectly round mushrooms, with what looks like a little alien on top are actually fruit bodies, or gasterocarps, which hold the spores for reproduction. The little raised mark on top is actually a pore through which the spores are released, landing in the gelatinous material to start reproducing. |
