Puerto Madryn is an Argentine city located on the northern coast of Patagonia. The sandy beaches and the promenade give to the Nuevo Gulf, where southern right whales inhabit from May to December. The Ecocentro building, located on top of a cliff, is a museum that exhibits Patagonian nature and has a lighthouse tower with sea views. On the other side of the bay, the rocky peninsula Valdés is the habitat of penguins and elephant seals, which are preyed upon by killer whales.
