Blaak Subway Station in the dutch city of Rotterdam has got a very striking design and looks like a flying saucer. At the background a row of Kubuswoningen, or cube houses, a set of innovative houses built on Overblaak Street. The cube of a conventional house is tilted 45 degrees, and it rests upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. At the left the Pencil tower, a six-sided tower just like a pencil (in dutch: the Blaaktoren).
