Pictured is the Bronze Time Remembered marker at station twenty-four of the Asheville Urban Art Trail. The marker reveals that there is a time capsule buried underneath with the proviso that even if the contents are fascinating, you will have to wait until 2047 to know for sure. It was placed during Asheville's bicentennial in 1997-98. The capsule was placed by the Webb family in memory of Charles A. Webb, a teacher, attorney, and newspaper publisher dedicated to the upbuilding of Asheville over his life which started in 1966 and ended in 1949.
