Pictured is a bronze statue of `Bill Pickett` by Lisa Perry at the Forth Worth Stockyards in Texas. William M. Picket was born in 1870 and died in 1932. He was a cowboy, rodeo, Wild West show performer and actor. He invented the technique of bulldogging, the skill of grabbing cattle by the horns and wrestling them to the ground as demonstrated in this statue. He was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 1989.
