This is a picture of the field house at Promontory Point in Burnham Park, Chicago, Illinois. The peninsula was man-made in the 1920's and juts into Lake Michigan. The field house was built in 1937, designed by Alfred Caldwell, and is an example of the Prairie Shool style. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This picture was taken on October 22, 2014.
