The Renzo is departing Varenna with a load of passengers. The other ships of this type in the fleet are the Fra'Cristofor, Innominato, and Lucia. All four ships are named for main characters in the I Promessi Sposi by Alessandro Manzoni, a 38 chapter work released in 1827. The Renzo is a medium size boat with two decks and 300 total seats. |
