The Presidential Palace (Presidentinlinna in Finnish) in the center of Helsinki, Finland is the official residency of the President of the Republic of Finland. It is also venue for many receptions and high level social event known as a Castle Ball every independence day. Built in 19th century the building served as an imperial residence of the Governor-General of Finland in the imperial Russian empire before independence of Finland.
