| This Ilyushin IL-18 was built in 1962, delivered to Interflug in 1963 and retired from scheduled service in 1988. For many years to follow, it had been used as a training facility for firefighters before eventually being restored upon private initiative to save this workhorse from its meanwhile desolate condition.
