| Prato della Valle is a huge oval shaped square surrounded by a canal. There are many sculptures on the channel sides. These sculptures are representations of culture and art personalities. In the center La Loggia Amulea, a neo-Gothic palace, which was the home of the fire brigade of Padua from 1906 to 1989, and currently houses some municipal offices. The front of the building is characterised by an elegant porch. |
