Tuskers refer to a group of african bull elephants (loxodonta africana) that have tusks each weighing in at 45kg minimum. These are rare and one of the world's remaining megafauna. Pascal, the famous tusker stands prominently in the wild savannah of Kimana Sanctuary, Kenya, with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Kimana Sanctuary acts as a wildlife corridor for a number of animals including elephants between Amboseli National Park and Chyulu Hills Tsavo West. |
