| Polna Castle and Chateau is a remnant of a once massive building from the 14th century, today a cultural monument in the town of Polná in the Jihlava district. The castle is located on the western edge of the historic center of Polná, above the Peklo pond.
It is one of the oldest feudal buildings in the Czech Republic and has become the oldest preserved monument in Polná. Probably built around 1320 by JindÃ
â¢ich of Lipá on a promontory above the confluence of the Ã
 lapanka and Ochozský streams. |
