Squirrels are a type of rodent from the Sciuridae family that is small to medium in size. In English-speaking areas, squirrels usually refer to the species Sciurus and Tamiasciurus, which are tree squirrels with bushy tails and native to Asia, the Americas and Europe, except Ireland. Similar genus can be found in Africa. The Sciuridae family also includes flying squirrels as well as ground squirrels such as ground squirrels, prairie dogs, and woodchucks. Members of the family Anomaluridae are sometimes mistaken for “side-tailed flying squirrels”, although they are not closely related to real squirrels.Squirrels are mammals and warm -blooded animals. Squirrels take care of their young and are plants that eat plants in general.Squirrels are socially social mammals in which male and female squirrels live in nests together and then give birth to offspring. Squirrel nests consist of twigs and leaves of trees made at relatively high altitudes and safe from enemy threats such as snakes and birds of prey. Squirrels usually emit a beeping sound to communicate with their group or family members when they are looking for food or disturbing an enemy. The advantage of the squirrel that I noticed was its ability to move quickly and swiftly between one tree and one place to another destination. The squirrel is able to fly by jumping from one branch to another or from the top of the bottom with the balance of its legs and tail. His sharp nails made his grip very strong on the leaves or branches of the tree on which he perched. Squirrels also have very sharp teeth and are able to bite quickly to pierce the bark of ground fruits or tree trunks.
