Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a group of snow capped mountains located in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is bordered by Lijiang Mingming Highway to the east, Tiger Leaping Gorge to the west, Yuhu Lake to the south, and the mouth of Tiger Leaping Gorge in Dajuxia to the north. It is situated between 100 ° 4 ? 2 ? -100 ° 16 ? 30 ? E longitude and 27 ° 3 ? 2 ? -27 ° 18 ? 57 ? N latitude, about 15 kilometers north of Lijiang, with a total length of 75 kilometers. It is parallel to Zhongdian Snow Mountain across Jiangxi and Mianmian Mountain to the east. It extends from Sanjiangkou in the north to 27 ° N latitude in the south, like a fan facing the ancient city. The 13 peaks of the entire mountain are arranged vertically from south to north, with the main peak being steep and the highest point reaching an altitude of 5596 meters. The snow line height ranges from 4800 to 5000 meters.
