| Founded in 1929 as the chinachem hotel, the Shanghai peace hotel is a 77-meter-high, 12-storey Chicago gothic architecture. Chinachem hotel was built by the then wealthy British Alice victor sassoon. The external wall was made of granite stone, and the entrance of the hall was entered by rotating door. The lobby floor was covered with ivory Italian marble. |
