| Influential French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier arrives at the Vanity Fair Party for the 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival in Lower Manhattan on April 20, 2010. Demarchelier was one of the most famous fashion lensmen of the latter 20th and early 21st centuries. He was the first non-Briton to be named as an official Royal Court photographer, and was a favorite of the late Diana, Princess of Wales. His work was a staple of such fashion trendsetters as `Vogue,` `Vanity Fair,` and `Harper's Bazaar.` Demarchelier died at the age of 78 on March 31, 2022. |
