This particular site is believed to be part of the Umbul Pasiraman showing the tower from which the Sultan observed the bathing women. The site of former relaxation place & royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta is located about 2 km south of the Kraton. The beautiful buildings consist a large artificial lake with islands and pavilions located in the west, a bathing complex in the centre, a complex of pavilions and pools in the south, and a smaller lake in the east.
