This Bridge Pont au Double is crossing the Seine in Paris, near Notre Dame Cathedral which we see the two towers. The arch is made up of 11 cast iron arches, 31 m wide, consisting of segments assembled together by bolting, with steel spacers. The arches of the upstream and downstream faces as well as the cornices were coated with copper. |
