| Parapenter at the Aiguille du Midi is considered the gateway to the Alps. This point is reached by the Panoramic Mont-Blanc Gondola. The two-part cable car ride takes a total of 20 minutes from the center of Chamonix to the top. Allow around two to three hours for the entire journey and longer if stopping for a meal.
