Paphiopedilum Villosum â orchid. Viet Nam. Scientific name: Paphiopedilum VillosumDescription: When mature, the Kim Paphiopedilum has 4-5 leaves 14-42cm long, 2-4cm wide. The upper leaf surface is bright green, the lower surface is purple from the base. The flowering season is from April to May. The inflorescence consists of a single flower, 7-21cm long. The flowers are large and fragrant. Needles grow in large bushes.Distribution: Golden Paphiopedilum lives on the crab layer of tree trunks. Found in India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and China at altitudes of 1200m-2000m. This area has a lot of rain in spring and fall, and in summer there is a lot of fog and drizzle.Preferred temperature: 8-19 degrees Celsius. Light: medium to low, but sometimes the plant can still grow quite well under strong light.
