The homa kundam, or kund is a sacred fire vessel central to the yagna ritual in Hinduism. Typically made from materials such as iron, copper, brick, or stone, it serves as the focal point for the fire Agni, into which offerings are made. Symbolically, the havan kund acts as the sanctum sanctorum of the ritual, channeling divine energy. Its distinct square shape is believed to generate a unique energy field that purifies the environment and spreads positive vibrations. The fire ritual also has psychological benefits, fostering emotional solace, spiritual structure, and community connection. Each homa kund is custom uilt for the occasion and dismantled afterward, reflecting the impermanent yet sacred nature of the ritual.havan kund pandits. pujaris
