The Palacio Da Bolsa, or Stock Exchange Palace, stands in Dom Henrique Square, in the heart of Porto. It once functioned as the international stock exchange of Portugal, and it's architecture is fashioned in the neoclassical style. The square is landscaped in lawn and rich greenery and is also home to the statue of Henry The Navigator, fifth son of King John I of Portugal and a great seafaring mariner, responsible for a great expansion of the Portuguese empire through his numerous journeys of discovery across the worlds oceans.
