Pictured are paintings on the south side of the burial chamber of Rameses I tomb number 16 in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt. The tomb is beautifully decorated with scenes from the Book of Gates on a blue background. The tomb was discovered by the Paduan explorer Giovanni Battista Belzoni in October 1817.
