| A Painted Reed Frog (20mm) in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. (Hyperolius marmoratus marmoratus) They boast the greatest variety of brightly colored markings of all southern African frogs, with a profusion of either stripes, spots or stippling. Those under about 12mm in length are generally fairly plain. Flattened discs on its toes enable it to climb slippery surfaces. |
