Jieyang City is located in the Chaoshan region of eastern Guangdong, China. Jieyang City is located near Xingmei in the north, the South China Sea in the south, Shantou and Chaozhou in the east, and Shanwei in the west. The land area is 52.40.5 square kilometers. There are three major river systems in the inland rivers: Rongjiang, Longjiang and Lianjiang. It is known as `Hometown of Fish and Rice`, `Floating Water Gourd` and `Water Lotus`.
