| Sun setting over the coastline of Dutch Zeeland. The Brouwersdam is one of the seven structures that complete the Dutch Deltaworks. The Netherlands have build these structures as a sea defence and this specific dam holds the sea back and creates a lake called Grevelingenmeer a special mix of sea and fresh water is created also known as brackish water and home to a wide selection of fish, shellfish, birds and other wildlife. Flamingos can be found in this area, unique to the Netherlands. |
