Originally there was a Slavonic settlement with fortifications, founded by Hrabisice Slavka, from the end of the 15th century owned by Slik. From the 17th century, the Saxon princes, Baden`s ruling family, the Austrian house and its Tuscan line were gradually replaced. It is a complex of several buildings called the Slik Castle, the Lauenburg Chateau, the Prince`s Palace also the White Court and the Summer Palace. The chateau is followed by an extensive castle park. The city office is currently housed in the castle. The Chateau Park and the Prince`s Palace are open to the public.
