| Pictured is the restored original red Pegasus flying horse, rotating on an oil Derrick by the Omni Hotel, Dallas, Texas. The original was built atop the Renaissance Revival Magnolia Building in 1934, removed for structural damage in 1999. It was found stored in a shed April 27, 2012 and went through an incredible restoration process. May 27, 2015 it was re-lit in a ceremony by Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings. The iconic Reunion Tower is in the background. |
