| This is a Spring picture of 1 of the 10,000 Buddha Heads that make up the Worldwide public art exhibition title Ten Thousand Ripples. This head is located of th Lake Michigan lakefront in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The project is the work of Indirs Freitas Johnson, the Budhan sculptures represent a symbol of peace and self realization and have become a global symbol of peace. The heads were designed and distributed beginning in 2012. This picture was taken on April 17, 2017. |
