Old victorian kitchen scene with old cast iron range

An old turn of the century kitchen scene. The main focus of the scene is the large iron cast iron range which is blackened and highly stylized. An orange and white lino hearth can be seen through a wrought iron tall fireguard. The floor of the kitchen is made from red quarry tiles, the ceiling looks as if it has been finished in wooden boards and painted white. There is a boarded cupboard door to the left which is painted a matt green color, the door has a metal latch on it. Above the range is a narrow shelf decorated with white patterned material, on the shelf are four plates one of which shows the willow pattern. In addition there is also a cup and small pots on the ledge together with a jar. On the floor is a stool and two metal buckets. Some utensils can be seen hanging from the mantle piece and there is a swinging bracket designed for hanging pots on.On the right there is part of a coloured curtain indicating the presence of a window.The wall above the range is black and sooty.
