| Chipping Campden is a market town in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England. A wool trading centre in the Middle Ages, the town enjoyed the patronage of wealthy wool merchants. Today it is a Cotswold tourist destination with old inns, hotels, specialist shops, and restaurants. The Old Market Hall was almost bought by an American after WW2, but the locals raised the money to buy it first. It is now owned by the National Trust. |
