| Old bridge in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, over Neretva river. The bridge was designed by Mimar Hayruddin, a student and apprentice of the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan. The Old Bridge Stari Most, was erected in 1566. The Old Bridge is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is a two tower ` mostars` the bridge keepers. There are two towers caled Tara and it is located on the left side of the river and Halebija located on the right side. |
