An old, black-maned male Lion, one of the 40 or so in Nairobi National Park, Kenya. His face is pale with age and his mane dark for the same reason. He has been the head of a pride at one time, but no longer and his days are nearly over. At most, he will live to approximately 15 years old, but this old fellow`s ribs are showing, along with the scars of many fights well-won.
