Oklahoma is on the borderline where tulips will bloom well. Getting tulips settled in by December 15th will give them the best chance to grow well. Tulips are usually classified as early, mid-season and late bloomers. They must have good drainage. The shorter stem is a plus in our area as they take the wind well. Petals are pointed and blooms resemble a lily. Some will perform better than others. It’s trial and error to see what returns.
