| On September 26, 2014, a wooden observation tower was opened at the summit. The tower was built as a community effort, primarily by local volunteers and tourists traversing the nearby trail. The nearby forest district and a local entrepreneur provided the materials and their transportation to the summit. The tower serves primarily as a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, and is also used by the State Forests for firefighting purposes, among other things. From the tower, you can admire the Bystrzyckie Mountains, the Orlické Mountains, the Owl Mountains, the Z?ote Mountains, the JesenÃky Mountains on the Czech side, and the ?nie?nik Massif. |
