| Nusfjord is one of Norways oldest and best-preserved fishing villages, located on Flakstadoya in Flakstad municipality. Fishing has been in Nusfjord since the mid-1800s. Nusfjord in UNESCO`s architectural year -1975- was designated as one of three pilot projects in Norway, for the preservation and visibility of unique wooden houses.
