| The Nova Festival of music and dance was held in October 2023 close to the border with Gaza, near Kibbutz Re'im in the Israeli Negev. At sunrise on October 7 a large group of Hamas terrorists crossed the border from Gaza and attacked the mostly young people enjoying the festival music and activities, killing approximately 800. A circle of clay flowers modeled on the poppies that bloom in the spring in the Negev then soon die represents the lives of those killed. |
