This is a Fall picture of the North side of the historic Chicago Museum of Science and Industry in Jackson Park located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The structure was designed by Charles B. Atwood to serve as the Palace of Fine Arts in the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, unlike the other building for the fair this building was constructed with a brick substructure under a plaster facade. In 1933 after renovations it was opened as the Museum of Science and Industry. The structure was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 1, 1995. This picture was taken on November 7, 2018.
