| Oleftalsperre is one of the big freshwater reservoir lakes in the west of the Eifel close to the border to Belgium. Sometimes the British called it Olef Dam. The huge lakes serves both as drinking water supply and flood prevention, especially for Hellental below the dam wall. There is a water power plant included as well. |
