On the Western gate of the monastery there is a pyramidal gate Church of the St. Apostles Peter and Paul. The Church was built in 1760-1764. The iconostasis and all the interior of this temple were outstanding, thanks to the numerous relief images of angels and saints, including stucco, sculptures and reliefs, carved out of wood and were enlivened by paints. In the background you can see the nearest shore of the lake Seliger and vast forests under the endless soft blue sky with fluffy cumulus clouds. Everyone will be fascinated and delighted by such wonderful landscape.
