| Gai Jatra, gÃÂi means cow and jÃÂtràmeans festival in Nepali: à ¤âÃ Â¤Â¾Ã Â¤Ë Ã Â¤Åà ¤¾à ¤¤à ¥Âà ¤°à ¤¾, and Nepal Bhasa: à ¤¸à ¤¾ à ¤ªà ¤¾à ¤°à ¥ is a festival celebrated in Nepal, mainly in Kathmandu valley by the Newar community.[1] The festival is generally celebrated in the month of Bhadra Augustââ¬âSeptember. The date is set according to the lunar Nepa and falls on the first day of the dark four night[clarification needed] of the month of Gunla. |
