St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Brasov (XIII century)

BraÃâ¢ov is located in the central part of Romania. It is surrounded by the Southern Carpathians and is part of the Transylvania region. German colonists known as the Transylvanian Saxons played a decisive role in BraÃâ¢ov's development. The old city is very well preserved and is best seen by taking the cable-car to the top of TÃÂ¢mpa Mountain.
