| The Peregrine falcon, Falco peregrinus, is considered a raptor, a bird of prey, attacking and eating other, usually smaller birds.
Falcons will perch on top of tall trees, cliffs, and even tall building, before suddenly descending on unsuspecting victims.
The falcon is the absolutely fastest of all animals in the world, land, air or sea.
