| The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, on 53rd Street, just off 5th Avenue in the heart of Manhattan re-opened with a $400 million overhaul and 40,000 additional square feet of exhibition space after being closed from June 15- October 21, 2019. The visitors are Museum members who were allowed a sneak peek a few days before the general public could take in the the view. This particular creation, by Swiss-born Daniel Grataloup, is entitled `Urban Proposal with Multi Thin-Shell Capsules Project,` 1974 and reflects a projection of a futuristic housing project. It is constructed from wood, plastic, and acrylic paint. He certainly gives these visitors something to discuss; October 19, 2019. |
