| The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, on 53rd Street, just off 5th Avenue in the heart of Manhattan re-opened with a $400 million overhaul and 40,000 additional square feet of exhibition space after being closed from June 15- October 21, 2019. The visitors are Museum members who were allowed a sneak peek a few days before the general public could take in the the view. This particular painting by abstract expressionist Jackson Pollack is entitled, `One: Number 31,` 1950. He employs the `drip` technique and transfixes this viewer; October 19, 2019. |
