The Neutor is an old gate in the northwest of the Nuremberg city wall, located southwest of the castle and was one of the four main gates of the city fortifications. Built next to the older Tiergartnertor, it was mentioned as early as 1377 and led via St. Johannis (Nuremberg) to Furth, Wurzburg and Frankfurt am Main. June 25, 2023
