| The western honey bee or European honey bee on a marguerite daisy flower. Argyranthemum marguerite, marguerite daisy, dill daisy is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Asteraceae. Members of this genus are sometimes also placed in the genus Chrysanthemum. nEuropean honey bee is the most common of the 7ââ¬â12 species of honey bees worldwide. The genus name Apis is Latin for `bee`, and mellifera is the Latin for `honey-bearing`, referring to the species` production of honey. |
