Monumento a los Abogados de Atocha In honour of the 1977 massacre that occurred in an office on Calle Atocha which saw 5 people slain and 4 wounded ,when Franco died in 1975 and Spain made moves for the transition from Dictatorship to Democracy a Neofascist group carried out this atrocity in an attempt the change the course of the change to Democracy ,this poignant and powerful memorial shows a group of people in a huddle ,consoling themselves and standing together, makes for some great photographic opportunities, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area, easy to locate on Plazuela De Anton Martin .
